The look of your site plays an important role, if you’re website looks like it was created by an 8 year old, it’s going to be nearly impossible to have visitors take you seriously.

If you’re using a free website, same problem.

Your website is your number 1 marketing tool. Spend some money. This is your 24/7/365 sales tool. It’s “on” while you’re not.

It’s constantly working for you, so do you want your #1 sales rep showing up in shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops? what kind of impression does that make? Think about it.

You have 12 seconds to make an impression on a website visitor, what impression are you leaving?

If you have not updated your content in 3 months or more, that’s a problem. Your visitors will know and also, Google doesn’t like that, they like fresh content.

The right thing to do might be to make some tweaks and not a full overhaul.
